Many mistakes happen when people play golf, and here, we will mention some of the errors to avoid.
Not Warming Up
There’s nothing which can ruin your swing more, than when you are trying to hit a target without warming up. Many golfers make this mistake. They don’t warm up before the game. Before you start the round, try and take smooth swings with each of your clubs. You can start with the wedges and move on to the fairway metals to the driver. The key to a good swing is loose, limber and warm muscles.
Using Wrong Clubs
Many golfers make the mistake of thinking all the clubs are the same. They just go to the store and pick a set, only to find it difficult to get the right swing. Experienced golfers know that having the right club in hand will give them the best results with minimal effort.
Swinging Too Hard
Golfers want distance and power. To get this, they swing too hard, thinking it will help them achieve their goals. Faster swings will definitely give a long shot but can cause the ball to get stuck in the middle of the clubface. When you slow down your aim, it will help your swing have a proper sequence.
Gripping Too Tightly
In an attempt to swing hard, golfers tend to grip the club too tightly. Some golfers will grip the club in such a way, that you will see the veins popping out of their hands. This is wrong because it slows down the quality of your swing.
Poor Alignment
Golfers end up with bad shots when they don’t do the proper alignment. Before making a hit, think of the target line, and stance line as though you are on a rail track. An experienced golfer knows they have to check their alignment correctly.
